Are tickets refundable?
No, tickets are not refundable. You can resell tickets only and exclusively through our DICE reseller.

Are they nominal? In case I cannot attend how can I give the ticket to someone else?
The tickets are nominal. To change names or for resale you can only and exclusively contact the dedicated DICE service.

Where can I purchase them?
You can purchase your ticket at DICE.

Can tickets be purchased at the box office?
Yes, only if there is availability. Please remember that capacity is limited and pre-sale is the only way to be sure of getting in: in fact, in case of sold out, you will no longer be able to enter the festival.

Can tickets be purchased with the 18app bonus?
It is not possible to purchase tickets with the 18app bonus.

The brand-new Ortigia Sound 2024 App is now available for download. A kind reminder to download the new app if you have last year’s one.

The app contains all essential information for this year’s edition, from time-tables to location maps and live updates. Just scan your wristband on the app to avoid queues, top-up and check your credit. 

All payments will be handled in cashless mode.

Within the festival you will use an electronic wristband containing your credits. You will be able to reload your wristband either at physical points within the festival (with card and cash) or through the official Ortigia Sound 2024 App. The wristband has an activation fee of €2 and can be recharged in multiples of €10.

It won’t be possible to enter the venues without the wristband on. You bear responsibility for your own wristband. We do not provide replacements if lost or damaged.

Arrival. Upon your arrival, your online DICE ticket must be converted into a wristband at the Hub (Ex Convento San Francesco D’Assisi). Your wristband will become your pass to access all venues, the services and your only method of payment.

Top-up stations. You can top-up your wristband with the Ortigia Sound 2024 app now available on iOS and Android. There will be several top-up stations within the festival, where you can top-up with both cash and card. We highly recommend creating an account through the app and pre-top-up your credit in order to avoid possible queues. 

Top-up amount. You can top-up your wristband by multiples of €10. The first top-up has a minimum amount of €20. 

Credit. You can monitor your credit through the app. You can also request at the bar or at the info point. 

Refund. At the end of the festival, you will be able to claim your remaining credit through the Ortigia Sound 2024 app starting from August 5th until September 5th. Refunds can only be made on credit between €5 and €50. 

Airport. Buses and trains from Catania Fontanarossa Airport to Syracuse run every hour.

ZTL. (Limited Traffic Zones) will be active until 2 AM each day. This means the majority of the island is car-free and parking will not be allowed.

Parking. Parking is available within walking distance in Syracuse (Parcheggio Elorina and Parcheggio Von Platen).

Taxi. Taxis operate within the Syracuse area.

The shuttle service between Syracuse and the Anapo Stage (Aftershow) and back will be operated by an external provider, independent of the festival. 

Shuttle bus tickets are priced at €10 per ride and can be purchased at the Main Stage or the departure point at Foro Siracusano. 

Please note that advance reservations are not available, tickets can only be bought on-site. Shuttle buses run both ways.

Reusable Cups will be used during the festival to reduce waste.

We kindly remind you that your reusable cup will have an initial deposit of €2 which will be charged when the first drink is purchased and refunded when the reusable cup is returned. Each guest can only return a reusable cup each.
